Walk, Yoga & Create is a special experience where with like minded women we walk the misty Moray Coastline turning to follow an off the beaten path along the Speyside River and make our way through valleys, hills and forests to the Bonny Highlands of NE Scotland. We start our day relaxed and energized with a morning Yoga Fusion and Natural Meditation technique. In addition, along our journey we will drop back into nature and engage in journal and a simple nature art process where you can express what you feel and experience in that moment of the day. At the end of your adventure you will have a wonderful visual nature art journal collection to share with family and friends. This experience is open to all who love nature and themselves enough to say YES!

Our HERIZEN™ Wise Women Walking & Yoga Adventure in Bonny Scotland will have a variety of walking experiences.  The Moray Coast, the Speyside Way and the Highlands.  The Moray Coast has been noted by National Geographic as one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world.

Arrive to our Bed & Breakfast at the Spiritual Eco village of Findhorn to share an evening meal together. The following day is one of rest, Yoga, Meditation and an introduction to our journal and nature art practice along with a self guided tour of the village itself. Our walking adventure will begin from Findhorn following the coastline to enjoy a coastal stay in one of the inns along the way before we continue further inland along the Speyside River. Our walking trail is alive with welcoming villages, beauty and much more. Walking, morning Yoga Fusion, Meditation, journaling, nature art painting, women circles, great exercise, breathe the fresh air and a taste of wee dram along the way, all with like minded women that love adventure, freedom, want to learn the history and more about the local culture.

Here is a representative sampling of additional anonymous comments from the panelists regarding the Moray Coast.

"A wonderful region of Scotland. Beaches are fantastic, and the area welcomes visitors as one of their own. Largely rural. People work together for the greater good—fishermen tolerate canoeists; farmers allow walkers to pass over their land on footpaths, etc."

"An undiscovered gem with pretty coastal villages, excellent beaches, and outstanding cliff scenery.

The Speyside Way begins with a lovely day following the River Spey from the wave-battered coastline up through birchwoods and pastures, with views of heather-clad hills giving way steadily to the rising peaks of the Cairngorm Mountains. The Speyside Way keeps to clear paths and tracks, which are chiefly low-level save for a hillier foray from the riverbank between Ballindalloch and Grantown.

The trail is alive with welcoming villages and a wide variety of wildlife, from ospreys to dolphins, while budding historians will love the Pictish relics, standing stones and ancient castles. Some of Scotland’s most famous distilleries await, too, including Glenfiddich, Machallan, and Cardhu. Overall, the Speyside Way is an approachable, settled route through a wild and beguiling landscape.   The Speyside Way trail is also a less traveled path making for a more peaceful and enjoyable experience.   Level:  Easy to moderate.
